Relive the iconic moment between Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell at the 1991 British Grand Prix with this David Johnson print, depicting the moment between the two drivers beautifully for fans to relive, again and again.

This striking print by David Johnson recreates the incredible moment shared between two F1® icons which took place in 1991 at the end of the British Grand Prix. Mansell had claimed pole position and lead the race from start to finish, meanwhile Senna has a podium near enough guaranteed. It wasn’t until the final lap that things unravelled for Senna. With only one lap to go, Senna’s McLaren ran out of fuel, leaving his car to stop.

After crossing the finish line with victory and enjoying his cool down lap, Mansell slowed his car down to ‘pick up’ Senna. Despite stewards trying to stop them for safety reasons, the two champions were allowed to continue, in what was one of the most touching moments in F1.

This print is perfect for fans looking to relive a piece of F1 history and will make a striking addition to any F1 collection.

Add to your F1 collection with a new David Johnson print.
