Driving for Lotus F1 Team in 1985, it marked Senna’s second season in Formula 1. Although having tasted the podium several times the season before, it was with Lotus that Ayrton claimed his first (and second) victory.   

Only two Grands Prix in and he was a race winner, after clinching the top spot at the Portuguese Grand Prix. After a series of strong results and podiums, Senna finished in fourth in the Drivers’ World Championship in 1985.
