This green tyre represents the intermediate compound tyres that are used on the F1 cars during races. It is one of the two choices of wet tyre, which feature the P Zero Blue wet and P Zero Green Intermediate tyres.  

This tyre also features the special tread as seen on the full-size tyres. The intermediate tyres are the most versatile of the wet tyres. They can be used on a wet circuit that has no standing water, as well as a drying surface. 

Wind Tunnels are used in F1 to help develop the cars and the different parts, to help understand its limitations and abilities. This type of 1:2 size tyre is typically used in the wind tunnel but this one has been mounted ready for you to display. 

The Wind Tunnel Tyre is in an 18” size and with a new look for the Pirelli’s 150th Anniversary. This Special Edition comes with a black glossy rim and a dedicated cap of the Anniversary. The bag to carry them is cotton with the Pirelli logo printed on side to reduce the use of plastic. 

The Pirelli wind tunnel tyre is the perfect piece of F1 memorabilia to feature a touch of F1 in your home. 

This tyre does not feature the same engraving that you would see on an actual ‘Pirelli Pole Position Award’ which commemorates the driver with their name and pole lap time.
