Own this DRS flap and add it to your F1 memorabilia collection. Taken from a Sahara Force India VJM10, this piece of bodywork displays the Johnnie Walker branding against a silver backdrop. The VJM10 competed in the 2017 FIA Formula One World Championship™.

Features:

  • Race used DRS flap
  • 2017 season
  • Johnnie Walker branding
  • Sahara Force India F1 Team
  • Dimensions: 870mm x 370mm x 80mm (approximately)

The 2017 driver line-up included Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon who finished the season in seventh and eighth place respectively in the Drivers’ World Championship™. It was a strong season for the team who finished fourth in the Constructors’ World Championship.

The DRS flap plays a crucial role during a race; the drag reduction system (DRS) is a movable part of the rear wing which can open and close. By opening the flap, the aerodynamic drag is reduced, which allows the car to accelerate more easily, to increase its top speed. It’s mostly used on straight parts of circuits and is key for overtaking.
