Story

F1® Authentics is pleased to offer this exclusive opportunity to own a race used helmet from the 2025 F1® season. This spectacular design was worn by Williams Racing driver Alex Albon at this year’s Singapore Grand Prix and has been signed by the man himself.

The race, which takes place each year under the lights, is a firm favourite on the F1® calendar amongst fans and this unique helmet was designed just for that race.

Donated to F1® Authentics auction personally by Albon, this helmet will be raising important funds for a charity close to his heart, UNICEF Thailand. By bidding on this helmet, you have the chance to own a genuine piece of racing action as well as support this truly worthy cause.

A Unique Helmet for Singapore

This bold and colorful helmet was specifically created for use at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix. It was designed by Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Karlotta Freier and features Thai and Asian inspired motifs, to celebrate Alex’s Southeast Asian heritage.

F1® driver Alex Albon commented: “I’m really proud to be teaming up with UNICEF Thailand to auction my Singapore GP helmet and raise funds to support children who need it most in Thailand. I hope it also helps highlight the important work they’re doing and inspires more people to get involved.”

UNICEF promotes the wellbeing of children, partnering with 190 countries and territories to deliver practical action and reach vulnerable and excluded children.

By donating his helmet, Albon is helping support children in Thailand, helping ensure they have the opportunities they need to thrive.

Albon has taken part in charity auctions with F1® Authentics in previous years, raising significant funds for a Thai Orphanage.

Albon: The road so far

Albon was born in Great Britain, to a Thai mother and has raced under the Thai flag throughout his motorsport career. From the young age of seven, until now at 29, he has inspired young people across Thailand. He became the first Thai driver in F1®, and the first to win the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.

Albon joined the F1® grid in 2019, lining up alongside Daniil Kvyat at Red Bull Racing’s sister team, Toro Rosso. In his first season with them he scored several points finishes, with a ninth place at the Bahrain Grand Prix and 10th at the Chinese Grand Prix. He also finished eighth in Monaco, but his best result came at the German Grand Prix, where he clinched sixth after a dramatic, rainy race.

Continuing to produce strong performances throughout the first half of his debut season, his obvious talent put him on the radars of teams, especially the senior Red Bull team.

For the Hungarian GP he was promoted to Red Bull Racing, to pair up alongside Max Verstappen. The following season, he claimed his maiden podium at the Tuscan Grand Prix, becoming the first Thai F1® driver to stand on the podium steps.

In 2022, Albon embarked on a new chapter in his racing career, joining the iconic British team, Williams Racing. Albon is currently enjoying his fourth season with the team, racing this year alongside Carlos Sainz. His experience and skillset have proved pivotal for the team, helping them develop the car and get the most out of its performance.

Albon continues to be a fan favourite on the grid and his auction of this exciting helmet, raising money for UNICEF, further adds to his incredible story.

Auction Buyers Guide

Our team's primary aims are to source the most unique items for our auctions and to make participating in our online events enjoyable and easy for our buyers. We endeavour to do this whilst offering a personalised service to all.

Step 1: Register to Bid

To register as a bidder, create an account on our account. You'll be asked to provide your credit card details, and a temporary charge will be placed on the account for the duration of the auction to minimise fraudulent accounts from interfering with the bidding process.

Step 2: Place Your Bid

Items at auction may be sold with or without a reserve price, and will be clearly identified as such during the auction.

For a sale to be successful a bid must equal or exceed the reserve. In the event that you are the highest final bidder, but the total bid remains under the reserve price the item will not sell.

Popcorn Bidding: All lots use a 5-minute time extension system. If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the lot’s end time will extend by another 5 minutes. This can continue for up to 24 hours after the original closing time.

Items that are sold without a reserve will be clearly identified as such during the auctions. In their case the highest final bid will always win the item.

Items that do not meet reserve or do not receive any bids will not sell. Upon the closure of the auction these will be removed and managed independently by our specialists. Interested parties are invited to engage with our private sales team to make an offer.

Step 3: Make Payment

We pride ourselves in offering our customers a variety of payment options to satisfy their preferences. Upon conclusion of the auction the F1® Authentics sales platform will automatically issue a payment link to the winning bidder.

Payment is due in full by the end of the first business day following a sale. Proof of payment will be required and requested by our specialists.

Auction hammer price is exclusive of buyer's premium and sales tax, and exclusive of import duties and VAT.

All invoices and payments will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).

Step 4: Lot Shipment

Memento Exclusives operates with several reputable logistics experts. Our partners have experience coordinating the worldwide shipment of valuable and delicate vehicles and collectibles and will ensure products are treated with the utmost care.

Upon conclusion of a sale our specialist will contact the winning bidder to discuss delivery options. Air and sea freight quotes can be produced for items.
