This authentic race suit was worn by Valtteri Bottas during the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, his first ever race weekend as a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team driver.

Used at the season-opening event in Melbourne, the suit marks the beginning of a defining new chapter in Bottas’ Formula 1 career as he stepped into one of the most competitive seats on the grid alongside Lewis Hamilton. Preserved in its original race-used condition, it carries the exact team branding, sponsor detailing and signs of use from its time on track at Albert Park.

The 2017 Australian Grand Prix carried huge attention across the sport, with Bottas making his debut for the Silver Arrows following Nico Rosberg’s shock retirement just months earlier.
