Italian Grand Prix
Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Known around the world as the Temple of Speed, Monza remains one of Formula 1®'s ultimate tests of performance. The 2026 Italian Grand Prix will once again bring the championship to one of motorsport's most revered venues. Taking place across an action-packed race weekend, this historic event combines world-class racing, passionate tifosi, and the electric atmosphere that has made Monza one of the sport's most revered venues.
Monza occupies a special place in F1® history. Opened in 1922, it is one of the oldest purpose-built racing circuits in the world and has hosted more Formula 1® World Championship Grands Prix than any other venue. Known as the Temple of Speed, Monza's long straights and sweeping corners demand maximum commitment from both driver and machine, creating some of the fastest and most exhilarating racing on the calendar.
The Italian Grand Prix is unlike any other race. The sea of red in the grandstands, the passion of the tifosi and the roar that erupts when the cars thunder down the start-finish straight create an atmosphere that is instantly recognisable. For many Formula 1® fans, Monza is more than just a circuit; it is a place where the sport's history, heritage and emotion come together.
For 2026, Monza will once again play host to Formula 1®'s new era of competition. As the latest generation of cars, advanced power units and sustainable fuels continue to shape the future of the sport, the Temple of Speed will remain the ultimate test of performance. From lights out to the chequered flag, the Italian Grand Prix will deliver the speed, drama and spectacle that have made it a cornerstone of Formula 1® for over a century.
